I am careful with my hearing aids around water. Why do I need a REDUX treatment? You're here is a hot and humid place. Your ear collects unavoidable moisture from humidity, perspiration and condensation. This leads to a reduction in sound volume and clarity and cause hearing aids to stop working.
How much moisture does it take to cause performance issues in a hearing aid? .5uL can cause up to 30dB decline; 1uL is comparable to 3 bathtubs of water in a typical home; 10uL can cause complete malfunction.
How long does a REDUX treatment take? On average REDUX can completely dry hearing aids in under 9 minutes.
