Meet Dr. Shepard

Dr. Brandi R. Shepard,

Audiologist

Dr. Brandi R. Shepard is the founder of Cody Audiology Clinic and brings expertise, dedication, and 20 years of experience to her specialty. Working with patients five and older, she helps individuals understand their results. Together, they evaluate and decide the best treatment options, establishing a hearing healthcare plan for the patient.

Dr. Brandi R. Shepard earned her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D) in 2009 from Salus University in Pennsylvania. She has her Master of Science Degree in Audiology from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Idaho State University.

Dr. Shepard spent a semester as an intern at the Cheyenne VA hospital, where she learned how the VA system worked and how to best help veterans with their hearing healthcare needs. She continues to have a soft spot for veterans and jumps at the opportunity to help them whenever possible. Dr. Shepard’s spent her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) at a fast-paced ENT clinic in Arkansas. She advanced her clinical skills in diagnosing hearing loss and balance patients, working with surgical ears, and difficult hearing loss and hearing aid fittings.

Missing family, friends, and the familiarity of the mountains brought her to Colorado, where she accepted a position to manage five hearing aid centers. This position taught her a wealth of knowledge about how hearing aids perform and best practices for programming them for patients. While starting her family, Dr. Shepard transitioned to the private practice setting, where she owned and operated a clinic with another Doctor of Audiology. After seven successful years, she brought her family home to develop the Audiology Clinic for Cody Regional Health. Dr. Shepard is proud and excited to now be opening her solo adventure, her heart song, Cody Audiology Clinic. She genuinely believes using patient-focused care, research-based strategies, and best-in-class hearing aid technology will profoundly benefit her patients in Cody and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Shepard currently holds her Wyoming Audiology license (A-1006) and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Shepard is a proud Cody girl, born and raised. Her family has been in Wyoming for six generations, and she feels incredibly blessed to be able to practice Audiology in her hometown. Her true joy is her husband Todd and their four children, Masey, Avery, Cole, and Kinley. She enjoys quality time with her immediate and extended family. Dr. Shepard is always in the middle of a book; she especially likes memoirs and biographies. She is an animal lover, enjoys camping and traveling, and started downhill skiing three years ago.
